Outsider themes

Author notes: this is about the book outsider and talking about the themes in the book.

What do you think family is? What I think it is a just person or person that care about and make sure that you are OK and safe. Like In the Outsiders by S.E Hinton there is much talk a family and how much of them do not like their family or their family does not just care about the about that person in there family. Some of the people that I’m talking about are Johnny, Ponyboy and all of the other greasers and how the greasers are there family. How the greasers will take care of them and keep them safe. What do you think family is? What I think it is a just person that care about and make sure that you are OK and safe.
So in the Book the Outsiders there are characters that there mom and dad do not care about them that much such as Johnny. Like when Johnny got hurt and he had to go to the hospital because he broke his back and is in bad shape. When his mom came and sees if she could do in anything for him and he told her not to come because he thought that she was just going to yell at him because he got himself hurt for doing something good to save my lives. Also an other thing is that when Ponyboy parents die in a car crash and them his brother had to take care of him and make sure that he is taken care of because there is on one else to take care of Ponyboy. The greasers also are family to each other because much of their family is broken up because they live in the bad part of the town.
The definition of family does not always mean like a mother or a farther and a brother or a sister. A family is someone or many people that care about and make sure that you are ok and safe. Some examples of that are in the book Outsides and some in this paper to but many more in the book. And that why I think that you should read this book
