Mother to Son
Author Note: this is a respond to the poem Mother to Son and what is all in it.
"Mother to Son" by Langston Hughes is a great poem because of all the many things that are in it. Some of the figurative language that is in the poem are Life for me ain't been no crystal stair. Which is a metaphor because is connects the mom and how her life is. Why I think that he use this is because it makes the poem a lot better with it then some other words that he could have put in to it. The mood in this that she is persuading to make her son to not like about the bad things in life but the good things that life have to give out.
Nice job but you should use figurative language.
