Thank you Ma'ma

Author note: this is about a quote from the book and what is so good about it.

"Um-hum! And your face is dirty. I got a great mind to wash your face for you. Ain’t you got nobody home to tell you to wash your face?"

What is so good about this is that she wants to bring the boy back her house and want to see if the boy will run or not. So of the examples are when they get to her house she leaves the door open and lets the boy go and see if he will run or not. After the boy washes his face she tells him that she is going to go and cook dinner. And the boy ask it he should go and get some things but she says no and lets him by him self. So she is testing him to see if should run or not. So in this it so that if you trust someone good things will happen.

  1. I think that your quote was one of the best in the story. However your author's note should start with a capital letter and it was a bit confusing. But I think that you have a great start to the short response.
