Author Note: this is about the character Doon and his effect on book.

The character that I’m going to talk about is Doon from the book "The City Of Ember". He is one of the main characters in the book. What role he plays in the book is that he wants to be a pipeline worker but his friend gets it and she got the one that she wants so they trade. Why he wants to be a pipeline work is because all of the lights in the city are about to go at any time and he thinks he know how he can fix the lights and save the city from the darkness. What impact he might have on other characters is that he might want to become friends with Lina because they got mad at each other and didn’t want to be friends any more. And that might change the story a lot because they might help each other when the lights go out. They might also save the city and every in the ember.
